A new room at the #GucciGarden, Cosmic Colours explores a palette that runs through the #Gucci collections, with archival pieces including coats from the 70s, to show how these are connected with @alessandro_michele s chromatic research. Bagology displays archival pieces from the 1950s juxtaposed with bags from the present and Cosmorama is a space full of luggage, trunks and hat boxes that focuses on the theme of the journey. 3/3 A cultural powerhouse, Villa Albani Torlonia was designed in the mid-eighteenth century to house the prestigious collection of antiquities of Cardinal Alessandro Albani, including a first-century Roman copy of an earlier Greek statue from the IV century B.C. attributed to Timotheos. Creative Director @alessandro_michele s desire was in fact to magnify the importance of the value of the copy, at times more authentic and real than its original.
